Four Overlooked Modern Thrillers

Here is a list of four recent films from the thriller genre that I feel have been overlooked or are underrated. This is to be expected given that all four of these entries are either independently produced or art-house projects by up and coming directors. However, I have also selected them because, whilst some of the stories aren’t unique in themselves, there is a distinct way of storytelling present, and a visual look that distinguishes these films from other mainstream blockbusters that certainly makes all four worth seeing.
